Friends of Egyptian children with Cancer's vision is to provide a cure for the children of Egypt Afflicted with cancer.
The FECC is an independent non-profit 501( c) (3) organization bases in Houston, Texas.Its vision is to provide a cure to the children of Egypt afflicted with cancer. Over the years FECC raised $1000,000 for medication, training, scholarships,and small medical equipments. The pediatric oncology hospitals we support are affiliated with the following universities: Ain-Shams, Alexandria, Mansoura, Asyit, Menya, NCI And Nasser Institute. In the last year a total of 1,702,086.31 Egyptian Pounds were spent to buy medications for the children with cancer who were treated free of charge in the above named hospitals. Hundreds of new cases were diagnosed and treated at the pediatric oncology clinic at Ain Shams University Hospital, Alexandria University Children Hospital at Smouha, the South Egypt Cancer Institute, Assiut University, the oncology Center, Mansoura University, the oncology Center, Nasser Institute Hospital.
We also provide support for the Health and Hope Oasis in Wadi-El-Natrun; Egypt first supportive care center for children with cancer and their families ( Oasis). Ours is an all-volunteer organization with little administrative costs. Close to 100% of the funds raised by our organization are spent on programs that benefit the children of Egypt.
